All about the program / introduction of the program

INTRODUCTION

The level of awareness among Muslims regarding halal and haram issues in the management of muamalat (Islamic transactions) remains low. It is still at a concerning stage, especially since many Islamic scholars lack proper knowledge in Islamic financial management, even though the elements of halal and haram in financial dealings have a significant impact in Islamic law. Therefore, the offering of the Diploma in Muamalat Management aims to help improve this situation.

As an Islamic higher education institution, UnIPSAS is committed to producing Islamic graduates who can contribute semi-professional skills in Shariah and Islamic muamalat, while also supporting the government’s call to make Malaysia a model country in practicing Shariah-compliant products. In addition, the graduates produced may also serve as preachers (da’i) to raise public awareness about the importance and benefits of using Shariah-compliant financial products.
